Our newly refurbished bothies, Eagles Crag and Ghillies Rest, provide luxury accommodation for couples and small groups in the heart of the wilderness reserve.
Available on an exclusive full-board basis, the bothies are perfect for a private wilderness retreat - contact us today to secure your preferred dates.
With accommodation for eight people, the larger of our newly-built, stone lodges, comprises two elegant double rooms with en-suite ‘wet-room’ bathrooms with two additional twin or double bedrooms. The large living area features high-ceilings and exposed beams with beautiful deer antler chandeliers.
The lodge features a fully equipped, beautifully, hand-made, Scottish oak kitchen and, suitably in keeping with this rich finish, Alladale has installed the latest in Sonos technology throughout the building with a 50” flat screen TV, DVD player, ipod dock, wi-fi and Skype.
The extraordinary location of Eagle’s Crag is very remote yet easily accessible. Looking down over the Alladale river, Eagle’s Crag features panoramic windows on each side of the living area providing incredible views of the glen and the ancient Caledonian forest.
Scottish sandstone floors are complimented with under floor heating for winter, yet remain beautifully cool in the hot summers. All walls are insulated with sheep's wool. The wet room bathrooms are supplied by Fired Earth and the full interior design is by Jill Evans (ex Mulberry director).
Pivotal to Alladale’s vision is to build sustainably. All materials, either reclaimed or new have been sourced on the reserve or in Scotland. All electricity within the lodge is generated by Alladale’s hydro-electric scheme.
