Thanks to the refurbishment of the Alladale Lodge and the restoration of Ghillie's Rest and Eagle's Crag - our new properties deep in Glen Alladale - we now have additional accommodation for a truly fabulous winter experience.
For last minute bookings in December and January we're able to offer up to a 40% reduction for small groups, with prices from as low as £125 per person per night. Dining on locally sourced, fresh organic food is included within the price; and of course, you can indulge in everything Alladale has to offer - pony trekking, guided walks with our rangers, mountain biking, clay bird shooting, stalking or simply relaxing in the most majestic of Highland settings.

| The Method Putkisto retreat is returning to Alladale in March 2010. Developed by Marja Putkisto - who will again be teaching the classes - the technique is an innovative, precise method of deep-stretching, deep-strengthening and deep-breathing, enabling you to achieve a leaner, trimmer body and lifting you to a good posture. Method Putkisto promises a lot, but unlike most, it delivers - the pure Highland air clears your lungs and truly lifts your spirits, and through a progression of indoor and outdoor exercises you'll reap the benefits of the beautiful setting. | Alladale Wilderness Reserve is the 'testbed' for The European Nature Trust's commitment to restoring degraded Highland habitats and returning lost species. Our latest challenge is the Scottish Wildcat - one of the UK's most critically endangered animals, with only 400 individuals remaining in the wild. Thanks to the generous financial commitment from an Alladale guest, Oxford University's Wildlife Conservation & Research Unit have now completed the initial feasibility study for a captive breeding programme. We are now eagerly awaiting approval from Scottish Natural Heritage to proceed! |

Word Is Spreading... Alladale In The Press
Alladale has enjoyed highly complementary press over recent months. Here's just a taster of some of the many articles and recommendations we've received:
"Alladale Lodge in Sutherland has room for 14 guests to live like lords and enjoy the estate... There are wild boar, moose, clay pigeon shooting, massage and beauty treatments. Meals appear as if by magic... You are welcomed with mulled wine and taken on guided walks and a ranger safari." Sunday Telegraph, December 2009
"Alladale is achingly beautiful in places yet only an hour's drive north of Inverness... After dinner, we were left to sit in front of the wood-burning stove and gaze out at the dramatic landscape. While the wolves may be a long way off, unwinding amongst the wilds of Alladale is already good enough to howl about." The Scotsman, October 2009. Read the full article
"Inside, the lodge is traditional Scottish Highlands, with a stylish, updated twist... As well as all this gorgeous accommodation, there is the five-star outdoors...if you dream of experiencing a bit of timeless Scottish Highlands living - with a little luxury thrown in - give Alladale a try." Times Online, September 2009. Read the full article |

Watch This: Radio Gibbon, Thursday 10 December, 9pm, BBC2
Produced by Mike Birkhead, the man responsible for 'Moose In The Glen' (the widely publicised Natural World documentary about Alladale), 'Radio Gibbon' follows
Chanee Brulé's fight to save Borneo's gibbons - the only apes to mate faithfully for life. Chanee, a world expert at gibbon matchmaking, pairs up rescued gibbons at his sanctuary in preparation for their release to the forest - many of which are found after tip-offs to the radio station Chanee also runs. |
